Coffee Cup Art

Coffee Cup Art
Title: Coffee Cup Art - Cappuccino
Painting Technique: Coffee on watercolor paper
Size: 10"x12"

I think this would be the last coffee cup art that I will be making for now. This one is a cappuccino.

Cappuccino almost similar with cafe au lait since it also uses espresso and hot milk. Cappuccino has steamed milk foam on top of it unlike a latte.

Thanks for reading and I surely would like to hear your comments on my three(3) coffee cup art.

Coffee Cup Art

Coffee Cup Art
Title: Coffee Cup Art - Cafe Latte
Painting Technique: Coffee on watercolor paper
Size: 10"x12"

This coffee cup art that I made was a coffee illustration of cafe latte or "cafe au lait" in french or "cafe con leche" in spanish.

Caffe Latte was derived from the italian words coffee and milk respectively. To put it simply Caffe Latte (or Cafe Latte as others spell it) is a coffee beverage composed of coffee and hot milk.

I hope this has been informative and at the same time pleasing to the eyes.

And I hope that by tomorrow i will be able to make make another painting of coffee cup art.

Title: Coffee Cup Art - Espresso
Painting Technique: Coffee on watercolor paper
Size: 10"x12"

This coffee cup art that I made was an illustration of espresso.

An espresso is a concentrated coffee drink. It is made by using pressure to force hot water through fine coffee grinds.

Tomorrow, I might be posting another of my coffee cup art. I think I might be making a cappuccino that has a similar feel with this coffee art.

This will be all for now. I hope you enjoyed my painting of espresso as coffee cup art.

Coffee Quotes

Coffee Quotes

Coffee quotes are just simple sayings that remind us of our coffee experience or somehow support our belief system or idea with regards to coffee.

I have a short list of coffee quotes and some of them were just heard or read from somewhere else.

Here is a sample list of coffee quotes that I have:

Everybody believes in something. I believe I'll have another cup of coffee.

“Starbucks says they are going to start putting religious quotes on cups. The very first one will say, 'Jesus! This cup is expensive!'” - Conan O'Brien

“If you want to improve your understanding, drink coffee; it is the intelligent beverage.” - Sydney Smith

Decaffeinated coffee is just useless brown water.

Coffee, n. break fluid.

I only listed a few because those are the ones I could fairly recall as I am writing this blog. There are still plenty. But I am already sleepy.

It would be much better if you could just comment and share your own favorite coffee quotes.

Coffee Fun

Coffee Fun

Coffee fun is something I would define as a time or feeling of enjoyment while having your cup of coffee.

Let me share to you some of my coffee fun experiences. One of them was that day I accidentally added a spoonful of iodized salt on my coffee instead of sugar. (Who took the label out?) That coffee sure tasted bad but it made those who saw my facial expression laugh. And in effect, making me laugh too.

My latest coffee fun experience was when I left a stain on a watercolor paper. Though this stains are very usual, I have always considered it as a piece of "coffee art". To give it a little more appeal, I took one of my paintbrush and added some text to it. And of course, using coffee for painting the text.

Here is the artwork I made out of this coffee fun experience.

I would appreciate it if you would leave a comment if you find this artwork interesting or not.

My final words for my readers...

Let your coffee experience be exciting and fun.
Enjoy your coffee + have some fun = coffee fun.

Coffee Art

Coffee Art

Coffee art
is an artistic technique that uses coffee as a medium for an artwork.

One form of coffee art is also known as latte art. It is done by preparing a latte and incorporating some art on it.

I was amazed when I first watched these videos on latte art and I hope you would like it too.

Another form of coffee art that I know of is by simply using your coffee drink and use it as your coloring pigment. Using coffee as substitute for paint gives the artwork a vintage look with its brownish sepia-like color.

Using your imagination and creativity, you can now paint an artwork by using coffee and water alone. With the help of a paintbrush, dip it in the coffee and apply on the paper and start to brush around to get to your desired image. And voila! You have your own coffee art.
